How can we control our minds? Is it possible? The answer is YES and for that, we need to talk about Meditation.

 

To meditate is to forget absolutely everything, not to think of absolutely nothing, although it seems easy to say, that if you practice it with someone’s help as a guide, you will learn to do it. What you have to learn is to control the mind.

 

To meditate is to be mindful in the Here and Now, to be aware that yesterday’s mistakes and the worries and fears of tomorrow, simply do not exist, are only games of your mind to stay excited about do not fall asleep and it is sleep, in fact, the medicine that confused people who come from the West seek to improve their mental health.

Zen Meditation

The Diaphragmatic: in the first moment of inspiration, the abdomen swells. The gentle lowering of the diaphragm results in a constant and effective massage throughout the abdominal mass. The inspiration must be low and silent. In a second moment, on exhaling, the lungs empty and occupy a very restricted place; the belly relaxes and begins the process again. During it, it is essential to inhale and exhale through the nose and keep the abdominal muscles relaxed.

 

Pulmonary: consists of separating the ribs and expanding the chest, thus filling the lungs in the middle region.

 

Clavicular:  here we will try to raise the clavicles at the same time that it is inspired and the air is introduced slowly but without lifting the shoulders.

 

It is proven that meditation is very beneficial to physical, mental, and spiritual health. If we could take just fifteen minutes per day to practice it, with time, we would see the results.

 

Meditation helps to increase your concentration, decreases anxiety, and provides a connection with your inner voice generating a happy sense. Your mind also needs space, and our pace of life never takes into account this deserved rest. That’s why is important to start building this important healthy habit.

 

Many chronic diseases are attributed to stress, such as heart disease, cancer, depression, panic attacks, lupus, and respiratory problems, and constant stress wears out the mind and body. Choose a healthy lifestyle and introduce meditation as part of it, doctors recommend it.

 

You can begin to practice meditation in the comfort of your home, applying the type of meditation and breathing that satisfies you most. It is recommended to practice meditation in the early morning because it is the quietest moment of the day. Search for a fresh place as a balcony, or a terrace, or if you like you can go out and be in direct contact with nature and just hear the birds and feel the fresh wind on your face.
