The Republic of India is one of the destinations for those who want to visit a very special culture and want to try dishes with unique flavors. India is the owner of beautiful buildings and each one has its own story, many of which, the architecture used is incredible.
India is undoubtedly a country worth visiting and entering a fantastic world full of culture and tradition. Although many of its attractions revolve around religion, with its beautiful temples, it will also attract your attention for its palaces and forts, worthy of a story. That’s why in this blog you will find the top 10 destinations to visit in India.
#1. Taj Mahal
This impressive World Heritage Site is located in the city of Agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. You can travel on a flight to Delhi and from there take a train in a trip of three to five hours or take a taxi in a trip of approximately three and a half hours. If you are going from Agra airport, the drive is about 15 minutes.
It is an obligatory stop on your vacation in India, not only for being one of the Seven Wonders of the World but for being a beautiful construction with Islamic or Persian architecture which was ordered to be built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal around 1600 after she died in her 14th childbirth.
